1. Introduction
UnoPay is an electronic wallet service designed to provide secure and efficient financial solutions, enabling users to conduct transactions at any time and from any location, subject to service availability and applicable regulations.
2. General Provisions
- The UnoPay wallet is available in the following currencies: Yemeni Rial (new and old), Saudi Riyal, and United States Dollar.
- Only one electronic wallet may be registered per mobile phone number.
- UnoPay is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of users’ personal data and transactions in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.
- Where a user violates applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms and Conditions, UnoPay may suspend or restrict access to the wallet and may take any action required to protect the service, users, and third parties, including legal action where appropriate.
- For security reasons, the service may be automatically disabled if the user exceeds the permitted limit of incorrect password or PIN entry attempts. Access will be restored only after verification through the designated support channels.
3. Services Available Through UnoPay
- Bill payment: Payment of eligible government and utility bills (including electricity, water, internet, and landline telephone), subject to availability.
- Mobile services: Mobile recharge and payment of mobile service bills, where supported.
- Merchant payments: Purchase of goods and services by scanning merchants’ QR codes or using other supported acceptance channels.
- Money transfer: Transfers between UnoPay users and, where applicable, transfers to other supported wallets or partners within Yemen.
- Cash-in and cash-out: Deposits to and withdrawals from the wallet through authorized outlets, agents, or partner institutions, where available.
- Additional services: Services such as ticket purchases, hotel reservations, and ordering from restaurants may be offered from time to time, subject to availability and third-party terms.
4. Registration and Account Activation
- Complete the subscription and registration requirements as presented within the UnoPay application or authorized registration channels.
- Download the UnoPay application from an official application store.
- Select the account activation option and enter the registered mobile phone number.
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS or other supported verification methods.
- Provide the required personal information (for example: full name, identification details, and any other information requested for compliance purposes).
- Review and accept these Terms and Conditions.
- Set up login credentials and security settings, and begin using the service after successful activation and any required verification.
5. User Responsibilities
- Use the wallet in compliance with applicable local and international laws, regulations, and sanctions requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials (including username, password, PIN, OTP, and device access) and do not share them with any third party.
- Immediately notify Uno Pay through official support channels if you suspect unauthorized activity, compromised credentials, or fraudulent transactions.
- Ensure that the information provided during registration and throughout use of the service is accurate, complete, and up to date.
6. Security and Privacy
Uno Pay applies reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect user data and transactions, including encryption and security controls aligned with internationally recognized practices. Users acknowledge that no system is entirely risk-free and agree to take appropriate precautions, including safeguarding device access and avoiding untrusted networks.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
- Uno Pay may suspend or restrict an account where required for security, risk management, legal compliance, or suspected misuse.
- The user may request termination of the account by submitting a formal request through approved channels, subject to completion of any pending obligations, verification, and settlement of balances in accordance with applicable procedures.
8. Technical Support and Customer Service
Uno Pay provides support to assist users with inquiries and technical issues through the official customer service channels published within the application and on official communication platforms.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Responsibility
Uno Pay is not responsible for losses, damages, or unauthorized transactions resulting from user negligence, including failure to protect credentials, use of compromised devices, or disclosure of sensitive information. Where required by law, mandatory consumer protections may apply.
